Commitment to the environment

Respecting environmental standards has become one of the strategic objectives for a company located in the suburbs of the beautiful, old city of Kraków. 
For many years the EC Kraków has been involved in in the programme for low-stack emissions reduction by replacing coal-fired boiler houses with modern facilities and connecting to the municipal district heating system.

In 2007 EC Kraków obtained a Certificate of Integrated Management System, conforming to the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001, PN-EN ISO 14001:2005, PN-N-18001:2004 / OHSAS 18001:1999 standards, valid until 5th August 2010.
