EC Krakow’s commitment to the community

EC Krakow – as a company with local roots, established to meet the needs of Krakow’s residents, companies and institutions – takes particular interest in the cultural, social, academic and sporting life of the city. We mark our presence at most events of importance to Krakow, by providing financial support, in-kind contributions and organisational skills.

Because of its location in the Łęg district, located on the bank of the Vistula River, EC Kraków strongly supports the local community. We support the activity of local associations and are helping to change this part of Krakow.
As a good social partner, EC Kraków endeavours to assist disabled people in their efforts to integrate with society. The company is particularly interested in sporting events where disabled people can compete among themselves and with others.

As a company with French capital, we actively co-operate with the French Institute in Krakow, by supporting events that familiarise Krakow residents with French culture and traditions. As a patron, we also support the Philharmonic Hall.
We try to support Krakow sport activities and promote a healthy life style – especially among children and youth. In 2008 we supported, among other things, rowling team of AZS AWF Kraków, and the Horn School Sailing Club.

Each year we support medical facilities and foundations, such as the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University (various clinics, the Foundation for Blood Disease Prevention and Treatment), as well the National Christmas Charity Orchestra, schools (for teaching aids and supplementary meals for children and adolescents) and the Fire Brigade Headquarters for Małopolska Province.
